In
our Spring 2000 issue we began a series
of reports on organizations devoted to furthering the cause of
new music. Some of our readers took issue with the fact that their
organization was somehow left out. Of course,we stressed that this
was only a beginning, the final purpose of which will be the publication
of a directory of all such organizations, something we don't believe
anyone has ever done. On page 24 of this issue it says in plain English
"If your organizaion was not included here, we invite you to submit
a similar brief history and summary of your own new musicorganization's
activities." For-profit CD companies engaged primarily in the recording
of new music are also invited. E-mail to publisher@newmusicon.org.
